At last live site

Four months ago I could not even spell HTML and I thought JAVA was from Starbucks. After many loooong hours I believe I have a live web site. I did cheat started with a template and FP 03 and learned a lot from these forums. I would appreciate your having a critical look at my handiwork. I have no intention of doing this except for my own use and have a much greater appreciation for what professionals charge to develop a site.

Turn all the knobs and push the buttons I need to know if it works or if you will break it.

I know I need to work on adding security. But have not yet learned what I need to do. Yet.

There is nothing cheating by buying a template and using that, in fact I am not sure that there is such a thing as cheating ... unless of course someone steals a design or whatever from someone else ..... various ways to make a website, it is the end result that matters.

Okay the navigation really bugged me. Animations and stuff like that can be pretty annoying, especially when attached to navigation. Having those semi transprarent boxes go vertically - which if the page is scrolled then the text in them gets cut off so you ahve to scroll up to read .. and the flashing nav word itself ... sorry but I would have left your website, that just gives me eye strain and is annoying.

But, apart from that, the design is nice and clean and the text is a decent size, so many sites have size 8 or 9pt which I find hard to read, but yours is okay.

But as said earlier, the fancy animated, flashing navigation was a big turn off I am afraid ..... otherwise a nice clean looking site.
