website up and running, advice sought!
Hi
well ive managed to upload my site www.sew-engineering.co.uk (it isnt finished as you can see, more info to be added to each page) and i want your opinions and advice on it.
Firstly, i did the site in frontpage and wonder if there is anyway i can fix the viewing problems in netscape - text not on same line as bullets, table borders smaller on top cells etc.
Secondly, how do i change the links so that feedback stops being the only one highlighted? it uses a theme but te colours are all ok in FP i.e. it looks ok in frontpage itself so bit stuck on that one. i want all my links to change colour depending on which page you are viewing.
Thirdly, in frontpage, where does the feedback from the the feedback form get sent to? i cant find it anywhere!
Thanks
abi

Your site
Hi,
All I have done so far is take from this Forum so im trying to 'put back'.
Your site seems ok on IE 6.0. Getting it to view perfectly on every Browser is somewhat difficult if not impossible. Personally I would stick to AOL and IE leaving Netscape untill last. If you change the Compatability settings you can "try" to please everyone.
If you were not using a 'theme' you could change background settings to view 'rollovers' on all your links, I had the same problem with 'themes' but one of the chaps here will soon offer a solution.
The feedback Form is customisable and its probably been sent to a script handler or 'bin' of some description on your server.
You could change this to email the results directly to yourself, but be warned if you do this you must make sure the FP extensions are applied correctly by your hosting company.
Regards
Mick

Hello
Firstly, im new here too and there are many people here who know a lot more than you or I. I can only comment on my experiences with FP2002 which I believe is quite different from earlier versions.
Your counter is ok but you could get a free one from Microsoft Bcentral, you will need a 'net passport' and im not sure if your version of Frontpage has the function to get it easily like mine does.
You should get some response from the 'senior' members soon and they may end up correcting me on my comments.
Regards
Mick
