Need Some Input
I have made a website for my husband's band. It is located at http://www.stickershockband.com
Any feedback you can give me would be appreciated. I'm a total newbie at this.
Thanks.

Hi Jac,
On your home page ..... the animation of the orb .... the original picture is sized 125 x 122 pixels but you have yours set for 157 x 153 - so it has distorted the animation and highlighted the jaggie edges.
On entering the main site ..... the one thing that "shouted at me" was the text being all in capital letters - that is sort of the equivalent of "shouting" and the white against the black background - especially when in upper case - hit my eyes rather hard. For me, I would prefer less contrast in the colours and lower case instead of upper .... but that is just my opinion.

How close is Bath to London?

Hi,
How close is Bath to London?? It is about 120 miles away to the outskirks - I was born in London (North London) and spent most of my life there before moving to Bath ..... it takes between 2.5 and three hours to drive to outskirts of London ...... once in London - traffic can be horrendous and they have just introduced a City Congenstion Charge - $8 each time you drive into the City Centre itself - all thanks to the new Mayor of London - who is a bit of a :duh:!!

London now that is a transportation nightmare both for public transport and for motorists....
-
 Transportation nightmare!
Well for motorists I agree 110% - still a nightmare for me and I know how to get from A - B!! - as for public transport .... that is the very - and only - thing I miss living here ..... I loved it!!!! Suppose bit of a nightmare for anyone not used to it ..... but I do so miss it!! And so cheap compared to here ....

You should come visit us here..it takes 1.5 hours just to get to the other side of the downtown during rush hour...we have close to 4 million people and who knows how many cars...trying to get around 3 cities all side by side practically all at the same time...thank goodness for the subway - otherwise I would go crazy....just wish it covered the whole island :(:
-
Sounds like fun - I don't think!! Didnt realise it was that bad where you are .... good job you have the subway .... that is the part of London public transport that I really miss .... but from what I have heard, its a bit like "sardines-in-a-tin-can" these days - must be15 years since last used it. More and more people are using bicycles now ..... the nightmare of the car driver!! :p:

Oh boy, I hadnt read about that .... that will cause disruption!!! Except for Victoria Station, they are the main tubes that ferry people from the airport and major main line rail stations ...... as well as being used for the City Centre business sections ..... certainly not enjoyable for peole wanting to get around London while that is going on!!!
