    Check for duplicates...

    Hello, I have a form for entry and I would like to query the DB for an existing entry. Need some assist.

    Hi David and welcome,
    This is one of my embarassing moments when I have to admit I know nothing about databases. One of those things that I have always had a brainless moment for. But I did want to post just to let you know I am aware you have posted. I cannot help you, sorry! But maybe someone will see this who can help. the only thing I can do is give you this link and from the drop down for Database you may find something that will help.

    Thank you for the reply. Hopefully someone will see this. I have found some info, but not with enough detail for a rookie.

    The only way I know of not allowing duplicates to be entered via your form is to make a setting change within your database.

    Take a look at the following screen shot and select Yes(No Duplicates)
