Hello,

I recently had a radio spot made to promote my web site: www.savannahinvestmentproperties.com

I would like to add a "Hear our Radio Ad" link so people can click on it and hear the advertisement. I was able to insert it as a background sound, but I would rather people have a choice to click on it if they want to hear it or not.

How can I do this?

Thanks,

Rob Caldwell

You can use the Windows Media Player addin for FrontPage. Alter the size of the console so just the controls are visible. Have it so it is "off" when the page loads and people have to click the "on" to play it.

Ok, I got the media player inserted and working properly, but I cannot resize the player itself. When I run my cursor over the handles, it does not switch to an arrow and I cannot grab on and resize. I even tried to resize it in HTML, but no luck there either. Any advise?...........

We would need to see the page. Can you publish and give us the url please.

Ok. I didn't want to publish until I got that big honkin player resized. But here it is:

www.savannahinvestmentproperties.com

Whoops! Now the player does not appear on the published site. It's there in front page, but not there when I publish. What's up with that?

I can see it and it plays.

Look for this lines at the beginning of the code

<!--webbot bot="FP_WMP" PREVIEW="
<object classid="clsid:6BF52A52-394A-11D3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" id="mp_1274496822" width="300" height="310"

change the 310 to say 50

Ok. Well I got to display in IE, but not in Firefox. That's not good.... Our company only uses Mozilla Firefox.

check out these google (http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=play+audio+Firefox&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8) links - you have a few to select from there. You could get the audio converted into Flash which when clicked or moused over played ..... Flash is supported by all the modern day browers.
