I have used forms w/ FP2002 beofre and not had any problems. For some reason my form (puppy inquiry questionnaire) will not link to a specific page upon hitting the submit button - it simply returns the user to my index (home) page.
I filled in the page I want uses to be sent to upon hitting submit under "form properties" "options" "confirmation page"....I hit browse & selected the page within my web I want. I republished & it still won't work. I've tested that the page I want users sent to is valid & does work since I've hyperlinked it elsewhere in my page.
Any ideas?? The page in question is.... http://www.dynamicdobermans.com/Puppy_Inquiry_Questionnaire.htm

and it should sent them to http://www.dynamicdobermans.com/puppy_reference_form.htm after hitting submit.

Thanks!
Nikki

Hi Nikki,

Well you are using the same URL for your confirmation as for the Validation Failure URL.

Remove the validation failure, republish and see what happens.

Yes, I put that there after it wasn't working to see if it would work.
I took it out (the validatin failure page) - republished- and still it returns to the index page.

Another weird thing..... when I fill out the inquiry form & submit, it does come to my email address but the reference form is emailed as well (but obviously blank, since the user was never directed to fill it out).

So everytime the puppy questionnaire is filled out & submitted I get two emails (the filled out form & a blank reference form).

Ok, I missed this first time around. By using the reference form page as the URL for the questionaire, FP is interpreting this as a form chain, therefore sending to the confirmation page set up in reference. Try creating a custom confirmation page for questionaire. On this page create a step 2 link to the reference form.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! That did the trick. It is one extra step I didn't want people to take but it'll work :-)

Thanks again.
