Error msg. when try to publish live to my disk.

Hi all, Been a while but you always helped. I read the posts and didn't see this one, if I missed it let me know.

My Host migrated my site, changed my User ID and site #. (Didn't bother to tell me except that he was migrating. First, my password to get to my site failed. Fixed that.)

I'm using FP2003, although I have FP2002 still installed.

Along with many other problems, the biggest is, I cannot publish my remote web (with all the new numbers, etc.) to my local hard drive. The message:

SERVER ERROR: Cannot open file "C:\MyWebs" for writing.

I talked to "host", many times, I'm calling them so often I'm on a first name basis with them. They have no ideas.

Sounds as if they need to do something, like check my changed ID, to open my files for writing?

Or, is it something easy, like, I didn't identify myself correctly. I am able to edit my site online, so my password works. But, I still cannot get the changed site to my computer.

Hi, It's me. Replying to my own message.

I called "host" for the 8th or 9th time. Finally they listened. Couldn't get it to publish to their site, either. While I held the line they worked on it and got it to work.

Just takes keeping my cool.

Now, I have the problem of duplicate file names cause it not to publish. I read about it, have to try to follow directions.
