Hi all,
I'm new here and new to FP only 2 days, just created my site and it all looked fine on in FP and checked it using the preview but now its online I've noticed some anomolies.
Firstly all three gallery pages should scroll horizontally, the first two dont.
The text in the about and services pages is below the border using some browsers and to the right of the picture in others similar to the contact page. It should be to the right of the picture.
Any ideas why i am getting these issues?

Thanks

All three galleries scroll horizontally for me, and they scroll for a long with with mainly empty space after the images.
Looks like maybe you have done some copying and pasting? you have multiple body links and head tags and at end of page in the source code you ahve this:
</body>
</html>
<!-- Runtime: 2.3436 -->
<!-- Query time: 0.013393 -->
<!-- Queries: 30 -->
<!-- Memory: 1768Kb, end of textpattern() -->
</html>
That is not produced by FrontPage.
In the Contact Us page you are using blockquotes and forcing divs to the right ......
<blockquote>
<blockquote>
<blockquote>
<blockquote>
<blockquote>
<div style="float: right">
to position items on your pages, use tables and cells .... tables and cells are your basic layout, they hold your page together. So your contact page, a table with a row across the top and bottom (navigation and footer) and the middle row split into two columns wiht image in left and text in right ....

Brilliant. Yes youre right I did a lot of copy and paste and hardly any tables, thats where I'm going wrong. For some reason I cant seem to get the text in the tables properly also how can i stop the table or cell from being shown?
sorry if that sounds like a stupid question.

In normal view the table will always show via dotted lines. In Preview or browser then if the outline of the table still shows, - normal view right click inside the table and make sure it says borders = 0

If you have FP2003 you can otherwise not. But right clicking inside the table and selecting Table properties will tell you.
Move text around freely ..... well depends what you mean freely, the whole purpose of tables/cells is to fix the position. You can align your text inside the cell ... right click inside table - select cell properties ... and from there you can set the horizontal and vertical positioning. Dont start floating things or using layers, some browsers wont view correctly.

Thanks again MandyJay, I'm rebuilding the pages using the tables and hopefully will have it up and running by tonight.
Regarding the gallery and scrolling horizontally I was wondering if I can use thumbnails that enlarge to a bigger picture either on the same page or in a new window?
Thanks

You can make your own gallery if you want, tables/ cells ... FP can autothumbnail images to a set size for you. FP then links directly to the image so all you have to do is set the larger image into a page of its own and relink the thumb to it. Or do a search on Google for slidwshows or photogalleries, there are many out there to choose from.
