hey,

Each time i insert a new picture.. It doesn't let me drag it where ever i want the picture to go... It always seems to follow the text.. or the enters..

This "can" be done by first putting it in Word and changing its properties to back or front of text... then pasting back into FP... But i want to be able to do this in FP.. Is this possible?

Also is there a way to lock pictures that are outside of tables.. together?... So when a typical user resizes his window.. All the content would centre(if its centred).. and the picture would along with the content..

Thanks for the help so far!

You can only drag a picture where there is a space. i.e. if you want your picture to be say at the bottom of the page, but you have not made any space i.e by using the enter key ... then it wont go there.

But the best thing is to show us the page and describe exactly where you want which image to go.

Also if you have been playing with Word, the chances are you still have some "Word" code left in your page, that could hinder what you are trying to achieve.

As for locking pictures outside of tables, the reason tables are used is to help lock content. So suggest you make a table and put the images in it, then you can lock them.

oh.. So your saying i can't have a Vine-like image weaving in and out of a table border?

Yes you can, you need cells though to insert the parts of the vine. Or in your graphic program you can make a table "border" have the vine wrap around it, then insert the graphic into an empty column/row of a table where you only have three sides of that table set with a border, the graphic would make up the other side of the table border ..... there may be other methods as well but those are the two that spring to mind. Or you could have the graphic border/vine as a background image to the border cell, then it would grow with the table ..... it is the sort of thing I would have to experiment with to see which of those methods worked best, all depends if you have graphic program or not I suppose.
