Hi,
I would like to be able to setup a hyperlink so it opens another window and that window size can be set by me.
I can see that following Target Frame/ New window opens a new window as I require but I cannot see how to set its size.
Any ideas please?
Thanks

Hi,
Go to our Freebie section of this forum and download the Webmasters tools/scripts program thingy..... in that on left hand side you will see "Link Popup" .... that will give you a generator to produce the code for the window you want.

Hi,
I have just tried the script and it is great.
Is it possible to copy/paste this type of link?
I have the header script in the source page I am trying to paste into.
Cheers

Sorry I don't understand what you are asking. You have to copy and paste the script anyway from the generator onto your page ....

You want forum links to open in a resized window?

Hi,
I am sorry, but its me thats lost the plot!
I can copy a shortcut into a forum post ie www.talkfrontpage.com
So can I post the link I have generated - using the script, in the same fashion?
I think I've lost it totally now...

Ah, you want to link to something in a forum post but use the resize window as part of the link? Have I scored 10 out of 10 yet? Well the answer is no. But even if that is not exactly your question, this forum for example bans html code from posts also from using scripts in a post (for security reasons). The only way you could link to a small window without using code is if you could find code that actually went inside the resized window itself. Then you could just link normally to the page and it would automatically resize .... is that more what you are after .....
We will get there in the end ... someone else may have to intervene to translate but ....... lol !

Hi,
Thanks, that is what I wanted to know.
The script is great and works very well. The other info within the freebie section is also of great help.
Cheers
