My present web has grown from earlier versions and now i am concerned that I have collected a lot of rubbish along the way. There are probably photographs not used as well as dead and buried themes used and rejected from earlier designs. Is there any way of stripping out the rubbish?

I usually just try to do a monthly or periodic "cleaning". I backup the web to my HD and then I delete things that I *know* I don't need and then take out the things that I'm pretty sure I don't need. If there are any broken links or problems, I still have the backup to get the files from. I guess that's not very efficient, but that's just what I do. The reports in FrontPage can be helpful sometimes, but I haven't come to completely trust them yet. Now that I read through this post again, it probably didn't help you much. Maybe the way I do it is just bad. :?: Good luck!

Hi -

I always name my files and include the date in the name during developement. i have a Test site where all the files reside. Inside that folder I have a folder called old. After I make changes the old files go there. I always put my images in that folder to try to mimnimize the chance i'll lose a link. It works pretty well for me.
