Hi all,
There are banner links at bottom of page ... are any of them missing the images ... or is it me going even more nuts than I feel at the moment???
If some are missing, why is it that my client insists they are there and is getting het up as to why I cannot see them? also when I click on the link I get a message that says "connection was refused when attempting to contact click.linksynergy ..
here is the link..... thanks

From what I can see LinkShare is the bottom banner.
Most Affiliate links are code snips that are insterted on your page which include the location of all graphics, which are usually stored on there server.
If there server goes down for maintainance or for what ever the images used in the affiliates banner will not show.
Network Solutions goes down from time to time on mine leaving those red X's in ther banners on my site. But then they want un-adultered code used for there banners.
As far as why they may show up on the client...........
They may have there Temp file settings in IE set to the default, which just checks the version of the page then loads most from the cache.
We, who devlop and change web sites change IE settings to show changes all the time any time. Where they, the client do not.
See: From the Tools menu, Internet Options, on the General tab click the Settings button in the Temporary Internet Files section.
How often should they or you check for newer versions of that page.
I use --> Every visit to the page.
They use --> Automatically

there are no missing banners on that page and the links work for me fine.
More thanly likely where the banners are being "hosted" which is not on the website but actually at the affiliate companies server so you have one of two issues.. Either when you are loking they are down or the route to the server between yout ISP and them is not making the connection.
There is nothing wrong with the page at all though.

Okay thanks, I was hoping you would both say you couldnt see the images either ......I cannot even connect to the linked websites not in IE, firefox or NS ...
yes I hvae checked those settings Bud .. only thing I can think of is I installed a trial anti adware program yesterday and this happened since .. but I have uninstalled it and cant rememer which one it was ... oh well ..I wonder if that did anything ... you had to pay around $29 a year licens for it - I got the client to email me the images so I will insert the images so at least I can see them, then just add the affiliate link ..... I just dont understnad why that domain is blocking me from seeing anything ..... has been two days like that now ... and I have tried everything .. oh well .... cant be helped I suppose ..
thanks guys
