Hello All,
Have any of you used or are using Firefox as your Internet Browser?
I have noticed that Firefox displays my web page alot clearer than IE.
What are your thoughts?
Chris.

It does seem to be clearer -- not a lot clearer but I was able to notice a difference.
The only think that I have noted so far is that this window does not load very well...I have a very tiny text area to type my message in.
I do like the way it loads pictures -- I tried it out here (http://www.terravoyage.com) and you can really see what I mean about downloading the pics (high speed of course)

JJ,
I see what you mean, what I like is that it loads the page first so you can see all the text and stuff and then the pics loads.
My "Fast Reply" box seems to be the same size as in IE.
I did have a problem with Firefox 0.9.1 where when opening a url as in a link from a external source say in an email, that it opened a page in Firefox and a page in IE. But a quick search found a patch to fix that bug. Aparently when Firefow V 1.0 comes out in September, that that will be fixed.
I am also a BIG fan of opening new pages (right click -> open in new window) that you can open the new window in a new tab in the same window. I think that is great if you have heaps of applications opened or if you want to keeps different pages from the same web in the same window.

Windows XP does that but in your task bar, however; I do agree it doesn make things a bit easier and neater.
The POST REPLY text area is about half the size of the one in IE.

Firefox does have some nice qualities but just like other browsers it will handle coding different in some cases such as DHTML in layers which we found out on a recent programming project.
Anyway I too like it but add that to NS, Opera and about 10000 other browser versions it is enough to drive you insane trying to make websites look good in them all:crazy:

Hi All,
I have found recently that there is a lot of problems with IE, especially with it freezing. No problems with Firefox as yet.
Are any of you guys from the US??
Chris.
