I am a FP 2000 user and have just installed the FP2003 Trial version program for evaluation. It appears to be working OK. I can open some of my existing web sites and do some of the simple things I did with my old FP2000. But when I click on any of the help menu items I get an "Error Launching Browser" popup and that's it.

I have two browsers installed: Internet explorer 6.0 and Opera 7.1. When I "Preview in Browser" FP recognizez both browsers and I can select either one. I have a DSL connection and McAfee Firewall. Deactivating the Firewall doesn't help.

Probably some simple configuration problem but trying to get some insight from Microsoft is , well you know how it is!!!!
Thanks in advance
WYDuane

Hi Duane.......Does this only happen when you try to access the help files? The trial version does not come with support so it's possible they have that part non-functional.

HI gskywalkers:
I have found the problem. Recently I went through an exercise where I installed several browsers. In the process a default browser was not set. Once I set the default everything fell into place. The FP2003 trial program is marvelous!!! I am really impressed with it.

Thanks for responding, I appreciate it

All help files for all the 2003 products (and I thought XP products as well) do not have local help files - there are all accessed via the WWW. Perhaps this is blocked in the TRIAL version.

Nonetheless....2003 is a much improved software package it is well worth the upgrade...
